Head over to http://jondaviesphotography.co.uk/blog/ where you’ll find my latest blog post explaining my prolonged absence from the blogging world and some new images to enjoy 🙂
For those of you who are still subscribed to this site, don’t forget that I have now moved my blog over to www.jondaviesphotography.co.uk
I’ve just added a new page to the site called ‘personal work’ which will be where I upload images that would have previously been blogged here if they aren’t suitable for my new blog. You can see this page here: http://jondaviesphotography.co.uk/galleries-3/personal-work/
You can subscribe to the new site or contact me on email@example.com
If you are currently subscribed to this blog and wish to be kept up to date with my new posts, be informed when I post new images, etc you can go to www.jondaviesphotography.co.uk and subscribe to the new site for regular updates. It’s probably worth staying subscribed to this site as well as I may upload the odd post on here if it’s not really suitable or in keeping with the portrait and commercial emphasis of the new site.
I have also just created a brand new Facebook page www.facebook.com/photographerjondavies which is where I will be uploading additional images and running promotions and special offers. Take a look and ‘Like’ the page!
Anyway that’s all for now! Thank you all for following this blog for the last couple of years and for all your comments. I hope you’ll enjoy my work on the new site from this point forward! See you there 🙂
This weekend I met my first Aylestone Bulldog! Part Bulldog, part Dogue de Bordeaux (Like the dog in Turner and Hooch) Her name was Echo and she was one of the loveliest, most well behaved and funniest dogs I’ve ever met. She’s not yet reached the stage where she runs at you, jowls flapping and drool flying everywhere, which is nice as it meant we got to play with her and I could photograph her without needing waterproof casing for my camera 🙂
Here’s some images of Echo the Aylestone Bulldog!
She’s cute eh! These were all shot just using natural light from a large window and my trusty 50mm lens at around f1.8-2.8 giving those lovely out of focus backgrounds.
Last night was Light Night in Nottingham City Centre. It’s an annual event where the city puts on various light installations and displays. As always there was a great atmosphere with loads of people milling around enjoying the various projections and entertainment. Here’s some images I took whilst walking around the city:
I’ve just about thawed out now from the sub-zero conditions 🙂
So, here it is! A selection of images from Belinda Carlisle’s set at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on Friday night. It was a great night and she still has loads of energy and great stage presence – the crowd were mad for her!
For those of you who don’t already you can ‘like’ my page on Facebook – Jon Davies Music Photographer where I will be uploading more images over the next few days.
